101 in 1001 – Almost at the End Update

101 in 1001 – Almost at the End Update

March 1st today – 22 days to go until this challenge wraps up.

I know, I know – you’re looking at how many things I have completed, which is only just over half. NO I won’t be able to finish everything on my list, but I’m ok with that. And I still have a few more days to push as far as I can.

So this is where I’m at as of today:

Completed

6 Teach K how to swim – We’re about as close as we are going to get with this one. He’s doing awesome in swimming lessons, and while he’s not completely swimming on his own, I think he will be by summer.

25 Write a list of 30 things that make me happy – See my last post here

3Make a list of 101 30 things I have already achieved in my life – Done!

67 Attend a dance workshop or course (5/5) – Finished up two more short ones last month for Inter Foundations and Grade 5!

Total Completed: 53/101

Book Challenge Update

I’ve been doing a little better with this one!

Brave New World – Aldous Huxley (2/5) I don’t remember what I liked about this when I read it the first time – didn’t enjoy it too much this time.

The Mercy – Beverly Lewis (Rose #3) (2/5) Glad to finally finish up this series!

The Orphan Master’s Son – Adam Johnson (4/5) I liked this one. A bit of a heavier, tougher read, but well written.

Dark Bites – Sherrilyn Kenyon (4/5) Bit of a guilty pleasure for me – still love her stories, even when some of them are terribly written!

Where the Wild Things Are – Maurice Sendak (5/5) Still love this one!

Hatchet – Gary Paulsen (4/5) Last time I read this was in grade 5. I remember getting into trouble because I was supposed to write a book report on it, but instead just kept rereading the book over and over.

Veil of Midnight – Lara Adrian (3/5)

Total Books: 54/101

A few more days to keep chugging along…
