With both boys in school now, my days are feeling exceptionally calm. It’s strange, but I’m enjoying it. My evenings are busy as ever, and aside from wishing I had a bit more time with the kids, my October is feeling somewhat normal (instead of chaotic, hectic, crazy!).
I only have a small 101 update for this month, although I suppose that’s better than nothing. Here’s what I’ve managed to knock of my list since the beginning of September.

#90. See Cirque du Soleil or a professional musical Dave and I had a day out a couple of weeks ago (it was actually our anniversary gift to each other, just a bit late) and we went to see Cirque du Soleil. As always, it was amazing! Actually, it was one of the better cirque shows I’ve seen in a long time. The show was Luzia, and if you get a chance I definitely recommend going to see it.
#34. Ride a train Excuse the crappy quality photo (but hey, he’s cute!) This is actually from my last update (our day out with K) but I forgot to cross off that we rode the train to get there!
#47. Create my own wall art Done, and I have a second one in progress that I have no idea what I’m going to do with (because for some reason my boys don’t want a ballerina on the wall of their bedrooms). Giveaway maybe? You can see the full post here.
#97. Get an ipad for the studio Seriously, why didn’t I do this sooner?
#99. Put up all the wall art I have sitting around the studio Doesn’t it count if Dave does it for me? Yay for getting some stuff up on the walls though!

#64. Write 5 book reviews and post them on the blog (3/5) If you’ve been reading through the blog lately, you’ll notice I’ve been trying to post a few more book reviews. I’ve done two new ones in the late couple weeks (Review of The Hating Game by Sally Thorne and Ink and Bone by Rachel Caine) You can see the review of The Hating Game here and Ink and Bone here. I’ve got a couple more bookish posts in the works for next week as well. I’m kind of enjoying this!
#83. Clean up and organize all the toys in the house every few months (3/5) And my basement is clean once again.
So yeah, not a huge update, but a few things completed. I’m about halfway through this challenge now and so far have completed 36/101 things on my list. I’ve got some catching up to do!
